Jacob Schirmer is a multi-award-winning, Communication Arts-featured graphic designer from Texas, whose work is defined by bold typography, geometric exploration, and the deconstruction of form. His diverse portfolio spans print and digital executions, with a particular passion for branding and poster design.
During his time at TAMU-CC, Jacob balanced rigorous coursework with an active professional and campus life — completing multiple design internships, serving as president of the Communication Design Club, and volunteering with the SVC. Outside the studio, his creativity extends into photography, writing, sound engineering, and more.
When he’s not creating, you can find him watching YouTube or exploring the city’s coffee shops.Upon graduation, Jacob aims to join an advertising agency to sharpen his skills and build industry connections — with the long-term goal of becoming an art director and a versatile, jack-of-all-trades creative.
